The stars may influence your personality, but how much? Let’s take a look at the two most common ways of using astrology to determine what your personality is like.

Tithis is the time of the day, while in astrology, it is a part of the zodiac signs. They both are concerned about the real person. If you have a good zodiac sign, you would have a good personality. If you have a bad zodiac sign, you would have a bad personality. If you have a good tithis, you would have a good personality. If you have a bad tithis, you would have a bad personality. Astrology is a doctrine based on scientific calculations of the constellations and movements of the planets that affect people’s lives. The movements of the planets, as markers of time, allow people to understand the cycles of time, from birth to the end of life. One of the important concepts to learn is the tithi in astrology. Tithi is the first phase/fraction of the moon’s 16 phases. It’s a moon day. In the full cycle of the waxing moon (Shukla Paksha or brighter phase), which begins with Amavasya (last day of the dark half of the lunar month) and ends on Purnima (full moon), there are 15 tithas. Similarly, the other 15 tithas are part of the waning lunar cycle (Krishna Paksha or dark phase) that begins with Purnima and ends in Amavasya.

In the study of astrology based on the date of birth and in astrological predictions, the tithi is determined by the relationship between the Sun and the Moon. The first Tithi is the 12° of the distance from the moon to the sun after the new or full moon (Amavasya or Purnima). The second tithi is the next 12. degrees of the moon from the sun. Unlike days that are determined by tithi at sunrise, tithi can change at any time of the day or night because they are not determined by the solar day. There is no particular auspicious titha for birth, but all people born in certain tithas have certain characteristics, as we shall see in the next chapter. According to Indian astrology, Tithi in the birth chart is the time when the difference in longitude of the Sun and Moon is 12. Each tithi or lunar day is equal to 0.9483 days, so a lunar month in which the moon rotates 360 degrees is equal to about 29.53 days.

The tithing in astrology can be found from any horoscope or birth chart if we know the positions of the Sun and Moon in the birth chart. In Indian astrology, the calculation of tithi begins with the Pratipada (first day of each half of the lunar month) Shukla-paksha. Each tithi has its own name, its dominant planet and can be used in muhurthas for an auspicious event. According to astrological predictions, depending on the movement of the moon, the duration of the tithing varies from about 19 to 26 hours.

Meaning of Tithya and Paksha in Astrology by Date of Birth

Scientifically, in astrology, Tithi is one of the five elements of the Hindu Panchanga, the other five being Nakshatra, Yoga, Vara and Karana. The duration of each titha can vary from 21.5 to 26 hours. The traditional Indian Hindu calendar and almost all Hindu festivals are determined on the basis of the Tithi. According to Vedic astrology, the birth tithi of a person can have a great influence on his life and personality. Tithas in astrology are also the basis for determining favorable and unfavorable muhurats for important events. For example, if we study astrology on the basis of the date of birth and astrological predictions, then a person born in Shukla paksha or a child of Krishna paksha will have similar characteristics if their tithas are the same. It is believed that the characteristics of a person born on the same tithi of the ascending or descending lunar cycle are the same.

However, this does not apply to people whose tenth birth is Amavasya. According to the Titham in astrology, a child born in the Shukla paksha is known to be rich, hardworking and exceptionally knowledgeable about the Shastras. He/she will be an intelligent and highly educated person and know how to get ahead in life. Besides Pakshasas, another factor that determines our personality and destiny is whether we are born during the day, night or in a particular Tithi. According to astrology, people/children born on the day of Amavasya are slow to learn and acquire knowledge in their childhood, but as they mature, they begin to make an impact, not only by changing things around them, but also by impressing those around them. These children, on reflection, are somewhat unconventional and tend to focus on self-actualization and political literacy.

Many astrologers believe that giving birth during Amavasya tithya is unfortunate, as it is believed that negative energy is most effective on the night of the new moon and a child born on Amavasya day may have flaws in his horoscope.
