Your Introduction To Rare Astrology, Sprituality and PseudoScience

The Real Reason Your Horoscope Is Always Wrong

You’ve got to admit, the Zodiac signs of the constellations are pretty cool. From a graphical perspective, the stars look like little squares and triangles, which is great when drawing a horoscope. Sadly, astrologers make a lot of mistakes when interpreting these symbols. It doesn’t help that the signs of the Zodiac are not even related in any way to the stars of the constellations. When I started studying astrology, I didn’t even think to question the validity of a horoscope, because it’s nothing more than a piece of art. When you’re an artist, you just do what your medium inspires you to do.

Your horoscope and newspaper horoscopes are usually based on a few common things. One of these is the position of the moon in your zodiac sign at the time of your birth. Another is the time of year you were born relative to the sun, since the sun’s position in the sky varies throughout the year. A third is the time of the year you were born relative to the vernal equinox, because the sun is directly over the equator when the equinox occurs in spring.

The real reason why your horoscope is always wrong

I’m sorry to tell you this, but not all astrological reports, including your horoscope, are the same! If you have rejected astrology because your horoscope is always wrong, you should consider the source. Predictive astrology uses precise mathematical calculations to determine when and where certain events will occur in your life. If at least one of these calculations is incorrect, you will get inaccurate information. So let’s start with the most obvious reason why most people’s horoscopes are always wrong: Zodiac. In general, Western astrologers use one of the two zodiacs: Zodiac sign and tropical zodiac sign.

Zodiac star: Original Zodiac

The sidereal zodiac defines the signs of the zodiac (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, etc.) according to the fixed stars of the constellations. It is the original zodiac, detailed and codified in ancient Mesopotamia, between about 3000 and 2300 BC. Chr. (although there is evidence that astrology dates back to 11,000 B.C. Chr. Chr. could go backwards. The stargazer is still used by Indian (Vedic) astrologers and Western astrologers like me.

Tropical Zodiac: The zodiac that appeared millennia later

The tropical zodiac was introduced around 150 BC. Chr. established. Chr. introduced, just a few thousand years after the rediscovery of the precession of the equinoxes in antiquity. The tropical zodiac defines the signs according to the vernal equinox. Its use became common around 200 BC. Chr. described by Ptolemy. Chr. popularized. The problem with the tropical zodiac is that the tropical year (vernal equinox to vernal equinox) is about 20 minutes shorter than the lateral year (the time it takes the sun to return to the same point in the sky). Since Ptolemy established the need for a tropical chronology, the point of the spring month has deviated 24 degrees from the original sidereal zodiac.

Catastrophic effects of the tropical zodiac

So if you’re on the 25th. April, you are a tropical Taurus and a lateral Aries. If you know anything about the signs of the zodiac, you understand that there is an incredible difference between them. But the differences don’t stop at your sun sign: all your planets, houses and aspects are probably in the wrong house and sign! The chart below shows both the sidereal birth chart (inner circle) and the tropical birth chart (outer circle).  Have you noticed that almost all planets are in different signs and houses? Despite the same birth date and time, the personalities described by these cards are completely different! Therefore, all further calculations will be very inaccurate. word-image-18992

Next block of meat: Household system

The second reason why your horoscope is always wrong: the house system. The ancients divided the zodiac into twelve sections of thirty degrees. This distribution system is called a whole house system. It was a fairly simple system that Vedic and Western sidereal astrologers still use today. In the last two thousand years, tropical astrologers have invented a whole series of other house systems that take all kinds of variables into account. It seems to me that this was done out of a need to compensate for the increasing inaccuracies caused by the use of the tropical zodiac. One system is more complex than another. At the risk of making your eyes bleed and your brain melt, check out the Wikipedia description of the Placidus house system: This is the most widely used house system in modern Western astrology. The orbits drawn for each degree of the ecliptic for the movement from nadir to horizon and from horizon to midheaven are divided into three parts to determine the vertices of houses 2, 3, 11, and 12. The tops of houses 8, 9, 5 and 6 are opposite these houses. The Placid system is sometimes undefined outside the polar circles (latitudes above 66°N or 66°Z) because some degrees are circumpolar (never touch the horizon) and the planets cannot be assigned to houses there without expanding the system. This is due to the shortcomings of the placid system according to its critics, who often refer to the unusual proportions of houses at higher latitudes. Compare that to the description of the Whole Sign House system I gave a few sentences ago: The ancients divided the zodiac into twelve sections of thirty degrees. Pretty simple, right? The Whole-Sign House system is the oldest and longest running system because it works!

If your horoscope is always wrong, stellar astrology has the answer

Sidereal astrology has been accurate for thousands of years. Thanks to the spread of Vedic astrology in the West and the work of Cyril Fagan, more and more Western astrologers are becoming aware of it. Of course, there are other factors that affect the accuracy of predictions, but to try to do so without first laying a proper astrological foundation would be a waste of time. Conversely, an accurate prediction based on your birth chart can completely restore your faith in astrology and help you understand why it was once considered a divine science.
